People often ask me what I most love to paint. For me, it’s the sea, capturing a little of its magic to enjoy for a little longer. Rather than creating a photographic representation, I hope my Dorset seascapes capture the essence and atmosphere of the coastline; paintings that feel like sea breeze, shifting light and salty air.
Many of these Dorset seascape paintings also inspire my workshops. Through sharing my love of pastel painting, I hope to encourage others to discover views they love and create their own expressive work in soft pastels.

Recent Work
Brownsea Island Sunset is an original Dorset seascape painting inspired by the warm evening light across Poole Harbour. Painted in soft pastel, the view looks towards Brownsea Island, with glowing colour reflected across the water and the quiet shapes of the Dorset coastline beyond.
